
The department of History was started since the inception of the college in the year 1982 and 1985.The Government of A.P. Sanctioned two post of lecturers. A well experienced lecturers served the department for 42 years. Smt .M. Bhuvaneswari one Contract lecturer has been working in the Department.
The Department is offering B.A. with the combinations of History, Economics, Political Science and History, Political Science and Sociology . Majority of the students hails from Rural area and Economically Weaker sections of the society.
