Economics governs the life of the individual, society and the modern states. The subject plays a significant role in the international affairs. The knowledge of economics helps in solving many problems and the study has practical advantage. Economics is one of the Advanced Subject in K.H. Government Degree College, Dharmavaram  . The Department of  Economics offering B.A, from 1982.Economics is a Multidisciplinary subject which embeds of History and political science. The Department of Economics has one faculty member now.

 It has thrived in leaps and bounds under the stewardship of many eminent teachers like Sri. Chennakesavalu , Sri Suryanarayana Reddy, Sri Suresh and others.
